Your safety on Joom matters more than any match. Here's what we do, and what you can do. WHAT WE DO - Every photo you upload can be flagged or removed by our moderation team at any time if it violates our guidelines. - The blue Verified badge is earned only through a live in-app camera capture reviewed by a real person on our team — never from an uploaded photo — so a verified profile is a real, live-checked person. - You can block or report any user directly from their profile or a chat. Reports go straight to our moderation queue. - Accounts that violate our Community Guidelines can be banned, and repeat abuse from a device or network can be restricted app-wide. - We never show your exact location — only an approximate distance, and only if you've chosen to share your GPS location in Settings. - Identity verification (KYC) is only ever used to confirm who you are before paying out a withdrawal — never to gatekeep everyday use of the app. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Keep your first few conversations on Joom before moving elsewhere. - Video chat before you meet — a Verified badge is a good sign, but always trust your own judgment. - Meet for the first time in a public place, and tell a friend where you're going. - Never send money, gift cards, or financial information to someone you've matched with — no legitimate match will ever ask. - Withdrawing Diamonds you've earned always goes through Wallet in the app — we will never ask you to verify your identity or send payment details over chat or email. - Trust your instincts. If something feels off, end the conversation, block, and report. Need to report something urgent? Use the Report button on any profile or chat, or reach us through Contact — our team reviews every report.
